Privacy Policy

Adviser (“the app”) is a workout log and training-program generator published by FUDGE TECH LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your data. In short: everything you record stays on your device — we receive only anonymous usage statistics.

1. Your training data stays on your device

Adviser has no account and no sign-up. Your profile and questionnaire answers, training program, workouts and sets, body-weight entries, records, progress photos, favourites, reminders and settings are stored only in the app's own storage on your iPhone or iPad. We operate no server for them, we cannot see them, and they are never uploaded.

This data is included in your device backups if you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by us.

2. Device permissions

• Camera and Photo Library — used only when you add a profile picture or a progress photo. The images are saved inside the app on your device and are never sent anywhere.
• Face ID / Touch ID — used only to lock the photo diary, if you turn that on. Authentication is performed by iOS; the app never receives your biometric data.
• Apple Health — optional. With your permission the app reads your body mass and writes finished workouts, an active-energy estimate and body mass to Health. Health data is used only inside the app, is never sent to us or to any third party, and the app works fully without it.
• Notifications — training reminders are scheduled locally on your device, on the days and at the time you choose.

You can change or withdraw any of these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.

3. Anonymous usage analytics

To understand how the app is used and how people discover it, Adviser includes three analytics SDKs: Google Analytics for Firebase, AppsFlyer and the Meta (Facebook) SDK. They receive:

• usage events — which screens were opened and which controls were tapped, that a program was generated, and that a workout was started or finished (duration, number of exercises and sets, total weight lifted);
• technical and installation data — app version, device model, operating system version, language, approximate region derived from the IP address, and device or advertising identifiers.

They never receive your name, e-mail, photos, Apple Health data or the contents of your training log — the app has no such fields to send.

These providers act as independent controllers under their own policies: Google, AppsFlyer and Meta.

4. Tracking

On first launch, iOS asks whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, or simply do not answer, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used and the SDKs above run without it. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Adviser shows no advertisements, and we do not sell or rent your data.

5. Deleting your data

• Individual workouts, body-weight measurements and photos can be deleted inside the app.
• Settings → Reset all data erases your profile, workouts, programs, history, records, favourites and settings from the device. Entries already written to Apple Health are not removed — delete those in the Health app.
• Deleting the app removes everything it stores on your device.

6. Children

Adviser is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Your rights

We hold no personal data on our own servers, so there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. For the analytics providers listed above, declining the tracking request and deleting the app stops any further collection. 8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated text will be posted on this page and the date above will be revised.
